I personally think the Xbox 360 is a great system. I personally am a hardcore pc gamer and love the control the pc gives to games. I would love to see the keyboard and mouse controls implemented into the Xbox 720. What does everyone else think? What would everyone else like to see?

Personally, I don't think adding keyboard and mouse control is the way to go, as games would still be limited to the number of buttons on a controller for their controlls, a keyboard would be pretty redundant. Things I would like to see included are:

A smaller HDD, possibly an upgrade to a solid state drive
Bigger capacity HDD / Solid state drive on the standard launch console
Controllers with inbuilt rechargable batteries
Better reliability
Blu-Ray
Quieter system overall (disk drive, fans etc)
Inbuilt wireless funcionality
Some more features when you connect it up with a PC
An inbuilt internet browser (really no excuse when MS have IE at thier beck and call)
possibly free online play, though if quality would suffer then its not worth it
NO motion controlls.

1) More room on the HDD.

2) Built-in Blu-Ray player.

3) Internet explorer

4) Keyboard controller for the Internet controller and messaging.

5) Built in Xbox LIVE headset to avoid the problem of having to get a new one every 3 months.

6) A direct connection to your PC that allows you to access all of your files and things.

7) Ability to play 360 games on it for free.

8) Built in wireless adapter.

9) Ability to program you cell phone to system and answer call like you would accept a chat invite.

10) 8 player chat room.

11) A disk changer so that you can put three games (or CD's and DVD's)in at once and cycle through them in the dashboard.

If they have all those features plus a more powerful system I will be one happy camper:)

I've never had to replace mine and I've had it since launch, no idea what you do with yours..

6) A direct connection to your PC that allows you to access all of your files and things.
7) Ability to play 360 games on it for free.

If you look at xbox originals, you can see thats just not gonna happen

8) Built in wireless adapter.
9) Ability to program you cell phone to system and answer call like you would accept a chat invite.

That is one interesting idea :? lol

10) 8 player chat room.

Coming in fall update

11) A disk changer so that you can put three games (or CD's and DVD's)in at once and cycle through them in the dashboard.

Disk changer would take up more space making it bigger and so that won't happen. Is it that hard to change a disk?

If they have all those features plus a more powerful system I will be one happy camper:)Hickamie14

Built in wireless is a good idea as well as built in battery to charge the controllers, from what I have read blu-ray disk is going to be outdated in 2 years so don't expect it to be built in. The keyboard and mouse could still be used not just as controls but to surf the net/chat.

- Built in Blu-ray drive

- Bigger and upgradable hard drive

- Built in Wi-Fi adapter

- The ability to install windows on the system

- The ability to store mp3s on the hard drive

- Bluetooth support

That's all I can think of right now.

Way, way, way too early to start topics like this one. If microsoft was even ready to start thinking about another system then they wouldnt have put so much time, money, and effort into producing this years fall updaye. I say the 360 has at the very least three more years of life, possibly more, before a new system is conceived and brought to light.

The built in disc changer isn't a bad idea actually. It seems silly but it would be conveinent.

First, foremost (and hopefully obvious): hardware BC for 360 games... and if possible, retain the software BC already in place for Xbox 1 games on 360. Second: a standardized format for hard drives. This is proving to be quite a good thing on the PS3 side, and in the interest of console longevity, it would be very much to the benefit of the consumer (and indirectly, Microsoft) to let you use a standard hard drive format instead of what they currently have for the 360. Three: built-in wLAN support... hopefully by the time that 720/next-box comes out, 802.11n will finally be standardized. Four: Keep the motion sensing crap out. The ps3 goes to prove that motion sensing does not work with standard style controllers, and nearly every game that use(d) it has invariably had a patch released later to let you go on without having to use it. Five: standard rechargeable batteries provided with controllers. The 360 controllers use up AA's too quickly, and almost invariably will stop "liking" those in favor of the rechargeable packs anyway. s'bout what I can think of.

Wow man. My level just went up to level 2, great stuff to start the weekend.

Anyway, when did news start going out about the xbox 720. Man I swear you guys are like on some whole different level. Not only do you surpass me, in terms of levels, but you know the latest news to. I just got my xbox 360 and you people are now talking about rotating the scene another 360 degrees.

Great stuff though. Can't wait to see it.

Something that really needs to be sorted out with all consoles is the lack of RAM. The PC I built 4 YEARS ago had 1 gig of RAM and a 128mb gfx card. The 360 only has a half gig of ram to share between the CPU and gfx.... why? All this does is severely limit developers. If the box had double the ram we would have seen bigger multiplayer maps, more people in the same game and so on.

To answer :) - Xbox 720......

1> 512mb Dedicated ram for the graphics chipset, and 4 or more gigs of ram for the motherboard. (or more, we are talking anotother 3-4 years at least)

2> 250gb HDD on at least the most basic model - Noneof this "games have to be developed with the core unit in mind" crap that also holds back devs. Better models up to 500gb/ 1tb.

3> YES keyboard and mouse support. Stop whining that we don't need it. RTS, FPS, and MMO's would all definitely see a benefit and no-one can argue otherwise.

In short - Gimme a machine than costs 1/5th of a gaming PC and still plays Warhammer Online :D Oh yes :)
