Female/New gamer friendly Multiplayer games

Hey! I'm just looking for some simple xbox games that are easy to play that isn't for Kinect. I want a kind of game that even if I bring a new person over (all intensive purposes female), they can play along side of me and not need the skill of say... MLG Halo :P

call of duty but learn the controls first in single player

Try Left 4 Dead 2! It's a great game to ease you into multiplayer shooters and has a significant female community compared to other xbox games. People are usually more friendly because it is a cooperative based game
