Its alway possbile, but Square-enix seems to be pretty set in the ways of sony and more recently nintendo.
I highly doubt that they will be developing anything FF for the 360, maybe a different franchise fro mthem might come, but the possibility of an FF game seems unlikely right now.
No, sir. That is Mistwalker. Mistwalker's "killer app" if you will, Hironobu Sakaguchi (I don't know his actual position in the company) created at least ff 1-8, possibly 9 and 10 as well, I can't recall. But it's not Squeenix. They fired Sakaguchi after the failure that was FF:Spirits Within. Same company also made Blue Dragon and is making Cry On.PandaSamurai
He wasn't fired. He stated he felt humiliated by the film and quit. Sakaguchi created Mistwalker. He's the president of the company and director of their games.
Except for FFXI, there are no Final Fantasies for 360. I will probably skip the PSP re-releases, because I have the GBA ones. However, the thought of the achievements for Final Fantasy games intrigues me . . . I played the original so much on my NES, I would do sick challenge runs through the game (complete only with found equipment, no matter the party; complete with four White Wizards, which is harder than 4 Black, believe me!; Complete only with Knives for weapons; No spells Allowed; Spells only; etc.). The original games (GBA version, maybe) on X-Box Live with various achievments would give me a great reason to buy them again. They could sell the PS versions, too; but a disk would have to be sold in stores to make the CGI cutscenes practical.
