in a wayi agree with you, but i guess it was bound to happen sometime. i liked the old games (ie fifa 99) where you could win 15-0 and sometimes i wish the new ones were like that. but i do like them both neway

I enjoy FIFA 08 because of that realism. I'm going to try out Winning Eleven soon, but I've always preferred FIFA, for the most part. I scored 14-0 in an FA Cup match, so I can't see where you're coming from with not being able to score an unrealistic amount of goals. What would be fun about playing Chelsea against Man. United and winning 15-0 though? Play Manchester United against Barnet, and 15-0 is possible. Good times. I enjoyed the late 90's FIFA titles as well, and I LOVED FIFA 94, but I've generally preferred the introduction of near-realistic simulation in sports titles, from FIFA to Forza. It's more fitting, in my opinion. Arcade-esque sports titles were awesome for the SNES and Genesis, but I can't say the same for the current and last two generations.

I think the good graphics and realism makes this fifa game much better than the others, the only downside is not being able to score freekicks easily.

Fifa 08 sucks. Fifa 07 is great.

EA makes terrible choices.

FIFA 07 was good, FIFA 08 is way better. I'm not just talking about gameplay. I'm talking ammount of teams in the game and the options you have. Big difference.

If you don't like FIFA 08 or prefer FIFA 07 over 08 then you just haven't discovered what FIFA 08 brought to the table.
