Fifa 08 or PES 2008

I want to get one of them, but I can't decide which one.

What game is better/more fun? Fifa 08 or PES 2008?

Could somebody make a list of the pros and cons of both games?

And how is the difficulty in both games? My dad wants to play it too, but he doesn't play a lot of games.

Take it from me, i've been playing PESsince the 3rd game.

And i love it to death, that is to say, untill 2006 edition and 2007 (PES6 and PES2007).

They're nowhere near FIFA08 in the true "nextgen" feel.

(if ur talking about for the nextgen ofcourse, if on PS2, go for the PES version).

You can link up new moves, the be a pro mode is awsome!

And the game is really challenging this time around, you got to be good and have luck to beat a great team on WorldClass.

PES08 on the other hand, its gone more for the arcade feeling, controlls easier, you can run thru the defense line pretty easy.

both are good games, but FIFA08 this year is the better game

I have both of these games, and I would definitely recommend PES over Fifa. I play with my brother heaps (probably everyday) and we both prefer PES by a long way.

The graphics on Pes aren't as impressive as Fifa, but if you are playing on HD it's still damn impressive (to be honest this is the only aspect in which fifa is better). The gameplay on PES is far more realistic and far more fun (in my brothers opinion, and mine, and all of our friends, actually). I was a fifa fan for a long time, until i finally bought PES in 2005, and have bought every edition on its release date since.

It's a great game, me and my brother play endlessly. I'm not sure about your dad, but my friends who don't even like soccer always enjoy playing PES and learn how to play very quickly.
