FIFA 11 online help

Just picked up FIFA 11 for my son and he can't get on-line with it. Further discussion with him led me to discover that he cannot in fact play ANY EA game on line including FIFA world cup 2010 and BFBC2. When he tries to connect he eventually gets a message saying "your gamer profile does not have the correct permissions to access xbox live functionality"

He has no trouble playing none EA games on line including MW2/World at war etc etc

Any help gratefully received!!

Were you prompted to put in an online access code from the back of the manual?

yeh ea just started this dumb thing where you have to buy games new to play online

Yeah I know all about that ( got Tiger Woods 11 on day 1 so.... ) and the issue is with ALL EA games. Tracked through various forums and think it is down to the fact that EA games ignore parental settings and only look at the date of birth on the profile - if under 18 = NO PLAY even for FIFA rated a PEGI3.

I can't put into words how I feel about the morons at EA now or I'd get banned :P
