When did I disrespect anybody's opinion? Please clarify this for me because I'm sort of confused as to why you seem to think I'm disrespecting anybody. This game is going to suck, I don't need anybodies opinion but my own to make that statement.

Yeah, I can't wait to play it. Preordered as well. Although, I wish they were more creative with the character names, Lightning, Snow??? And Hope is the worst one. It's not a bad name, I knew a chick named Hope, but to me, that's a girl's name. At least the guy kind of looks like a girl, lol. But yeah, can't wait. ;)

I think it will suck so bad that only fan boys will say it is a matter of opinion.

simple, you play it. It looks like they just tacked FFX type caste ontop of tales of symphonia battle system and it sells big because of it's name alone. Not every game that is highly rated is good, most people complain about RE5 even with it being highly rated. Final Fantasy on the PS2 is a good example,let's see if you know how to judge games what did you think of Final Fantasy 10, the graphics(not just the CG) , the gameplay. IMO that game is best test on the subject.

just so you know I hope I'm wrong but I'm only renting it, and it will not be at the top of my list for even that,

Sadly, I'm not as excited for the game as I used to be. I suppose it will hit me once the game actually is out, but I was tired of waiting and I have other reasons why I'm a little skeptical.

1. I'm still bitter with Final Fantasy 11 Online. I was a hardcore player for over 3 years, but overall gave me a really bitter taste in my mouth regarding SE. That being said, I still bought all of their games and still appreciate everything they did for the game industry. I still miss the amazing musical score they always have for every game they release and I believe that overall, this game will be a great one, I'm just still wary of my previous experience with their MMO. Obviously it's a different game, a different style of game (MMORPG vs. Action based RPG) and the overall online experience won't show up in FF13.

2. Release date. Why? It's a smart thing to do to release it first quarter 2010 when it is slightly quiet. It's weird, but I feel like this year feels like a sleeper year in gaming for me, although there are huge games coming out for both consoles I own. I think it's just because my focus on gaming has changed a little bit.

3. I started to pick up older games and playing through them again. My collection is quite big and I didn't completely appreciate all the games, so I've been going back to play old games that I haven't finished.

After this post, I guess the hype is growing. Just thinking of the game makes me wonder about it more. I hope they don't disappoint me. I'm still looking around for reviews of the game. Let's hope it's a great game and prove me wrong.

they will give it at least a 9 no matter what because it was hyped so much. If it deserves the 9 will be the real question. I'd tell everyone who has become skeptic from SE like myself to rent first.

A simple consensus between the two of us would do. It's not that complicated to be honest, if we can agree that the game is good he wins the money, if we both agree that it sucks then I win the money. Honesty is the only policy.

I didn't realize that you had any authority to tell anyone to keep an opinion to themselves, and my comment isn't the same as trolling because it doesn't fall under the category of trolling. The Topic Creator shared his opinion on the game and as did I, I didn't offend anyone in the process.
