For those who own or those who have tried the Microsoft Wireless Steering Wheel, what were your overall impressions of it?  I enjoy driving games and have all of those available for the 360.  My understanding is that it only works with PGR 3 and Test Drive Unlimited at this point.  Is there any rumours that support will be extended to Burnout Revenge or Full Auto?  Thanks for any info.

I have PGR3 and Carbon, the steering wheel works great but I don't use it that much because I haven't played my racing games for a while.

Final Verdict: Rediculously Expensive.

Let's teach them an old-school marketplace lesson about what happens when you try to "F" the consumer. You lose your "F"-ing money, that's what.

Not more expensive than before. I've been looking at wheels since the early 90's and the "good" ones have always been in the $150-$200 range. Heck, good joysticks cost a fortune too (I'm looking at you CH Products).

You get what you pay for, if it's good, it's worth the money, and from what I've read in reviews, this wheel is pretty nice.

£90 bargain the wheel is huge and it feels like it has been made using the highest quality plastics its not a crappy one with light steering its a qualit wheel that is worth the cash i think its for the big racing fans who are going to enjoy it the most

Its worth the extra money over the other craptastic ones, I would even say that the other ones are not worth the 60 bucks but the MS one is worth $150 (a friend bought the cheap one and ended up returning it). Playing with a crappy one is no fun, but playing with a good one is a blast. I just havn't used it that much cause you can only play PGR so many times. Can't wait to use it with Forza and Dirt.

I love the thing, comes with updated version of PGR3 because Forza2 was delayed. I sit the thing on my lap and it actually sends the force feedback down my legs so that when I'm braking hard into the corners it feels like the floor board of the real car shaking.

It's expensive yes; but like they say - You get what you pay for.

PS. To me this blows away any gimmick controler, it really does make that old game new- bring on Forza2 !

Final verdict:  i'm waiting for Forza 2 to see if the wheel is impressive with it...if so i'll get it & keep it and if so  chances are future 360 games will compliment it also...i played it with the current racing games for the 360 and i  wasn't impressed personally!

- considering it's the only avail. force feedback wheel for the 360...i'm hoping it'll be very sucessful !

Also building a simple stand out of 2 by 4 and screws cranks up the immersion rather than playing with the wheel to high attached to a desk of to low and loose on you lap. The thing I built attaches to a chair in the room and folds down and stashes away pretty easily, just a suggestion.

Do you have any logical reasoning behind that, other than its 149.99! I heard its great and you can feel every bump in the road with the force feedback!

You can feel every bump with the force feedback. But that reminds me one thing I didn't like about the wheel was nothing is adjustable. So you can't bump up the force or the sensitivity or anything. It not that bad of the thing though cause the sensitivity was spot on in PGR, I did want to add a little more kick to the feedback but it was good enough. I was just spoiled by how customizable my last wheel was.
