Finally bought an xbox360...Its pretty sweet.

I never had the money when they first came out and instead bought the wii when it came out. I thought I really didnt need a syste that cost 300++ for dvd playback/cd playback and a harddrive.

I have had my wii for almost 2 years and have been happy for the most part, but the x360 just is sweet.

I love that I can play movies with component cables and even use an optical output for sound to get dts surround out of movies that support it. The grphics are sweet too. Playing games in Dolby Digital 5.1 is ohh so nice.

I had been talking here about getting the arcade since it was only 199, but then I saw the x360 Pro w/20gb harddrive with component cables for only 259 and talked my wife into letting me get that one. I really dont plan on going online anytime soon since i need wireless due to my router being so far away from my system and the wireless plug in for the system is about 100 bucks i ink. Besides, I pretty much stick to sports games/alternative games that me and my wife can play.

But to have the true surrund sound and higher res. picture quality for games just is awesme for me, since I have had the wi play n 480p the last 2 years approx.

Just thought I would say I am really impressed and cant wait to get a few games like TW golf 09 and prob Smash Court Tennis 3.

Glad to see you finally got your 360. :) I love all my sytems (for the most part) since I'm a video game collector, but have developed a special fondness my 360, over the last couple years, since I got it in 06.

I got the pro, so I got the 20gb hdd and component cables.

I also already had the optical wire to get dolby digital/dts sound...

Its just booming out of my speakers now..Awesome stuff!

I had the component cables for the wii...It was good, but only 480p though.

I sm selling it anyway...Just need money to pay for the x360 now and I dont mind selling the wii. I had my fun with it but its time I move up to the big boy now and i cant afford to keep both.

Oh well, the wii was fun while I had it.
