I think it's awesome so far.  I probably should've spent a little more to get 1080p, but I'm kind of on a budget since I'm in college, so I chose this one.  Besides, I doubt I could've really noticed a difference between 720p and 1080p, I didn't really at Best Buy when one of the guys showed me the two differences side by side.  But yeah I love it.

it is a tad expensive for 720p TV..... I have a Samsung 1080p 40" LCD... and I paid about the same price as that at Circuit City.

Oh man, oh well.  Does Best Buy take returns back even if they are open so maybe I could get a 1080p one?  Does anyone know?

I'd return it and go fet that 1080p one. You can return it at Best buy within 30 days. Just say your not satisfied with it. They'll do it, just don't take no for an answer.

They really will do it?  I just bring it in and say I want something better and they do it?

First off grats for joining the wonderful world of High Definition. Second, their name is so ironic. Best Buy is the most expensive place to buy any electronics. Sure they are convenient w/ all of there 100,000 locations...but you pay the price. I paid 1400 for my 42" w/ 1080p. I would have saved a lil more and got a slightly bigger screen. But hey...you can always save up for a 2nd tv and move the small one to the bathroom. Grats!

When the Elites came out I packed up my old system and brought it in anc exchanged it for the Elite...I had to pay the difference but they let me do it.

But really is there that much of a difference between the 2 resolutions on a 40" like mine?  Even when I have component cause I don't have HDMI for my 360?
