Hey Everyone,
I am bummed, bought my first 360, in dec 07. Knew about Falcon chipsets coming out about then, but ended up with older model, sigh.

Covered my butt though, and got a product replacement warr from BestBuy.

Its been running fine, loud, but fine until a month ago. When it wouldnt connect to the internet anymore. Fails to see the wire plugged into the ethernet port, and its straight wired to the network, no wireless routing being done. So I know the network card in the machine itself has gone out and I am turning it back in to BB.

They are sending a giftcard with the original purchase amount on it. So I will replace it as soon as I can. I was planning to get an arcade version, since BB is letting me keep my HD as well.
and reup the warr on it.

But I remember something about the Arcade version being the dumping ground for the crap chipsets. Are Falcons avail on them? And what is the manu dates to be concerned about? What about these BenQ drives I see mentioned and what good does waiting for a 60g HD model do for me, if all my stuff is already on the 20g HD. To my knowledge there is no way to transfer the data.

I believe the 60gigs came out today. There are many ways too transfer data to another HDD. Go on xbox.com

I dont know how you treat your 360, but mine has never broken and I doubt it will.:)
