Look I know it took me forever but I found all the flags and Templars on my own. OK with that said what the hell was that orb. Is it a alien artifact? Why doesn't Desmond Beat the Holy Crud out of Dr. creepy and try to escape? What was all thatcrap in the office when go to vision mode (I thought I saw the American Flag, the Star of David on the floor) the rest I dont get. This has to be one of the most unfulfilling endings since Soul Reaver 1 and Halo 2. But what do you think

Did you use your eagle vision in your room after your last assassination?

Yeah the ending was pretty dumb. Once I got to the orb part I lost some respect for the game. The rest was all expected since the first monologues with Lisa and the Dr. It seemed more like a bad dream and I was hoping that when the credits finished rolling that a little green guy would pop out saying "just kidding!" and give us a real wrap up. Oh well, hopefully ac2 will stay away from so much non sense. The badest taste left in my mouth was the whole time I was thinking I'd get to try to escape out of the bathroom or conference room somehow. :(

That ending was the biggest let down since Gears... Nothing screams "sequel" harder. It was completely unsatisfying, and it doesn't even keep me on edge enough to want to play the next one immediately... I don't mind hinting at a sequel, so that we can reasonably expect one and have a general idea of where it might be headed, but this is just annoying. Nothing says "we don't try hard enough" like cr@**ing out on the story. In my opinion, the only game that's ever worked for is Conker's.

i think the ending should've been sort of a demo to the next installment. I'm sure we can safely say that the Altair aspect of the story is over and its all about Desmond from here on out. The fact that at the end of the game he tapped into the eagle vision himself says a lot. Like someone mentioned earlier they should've at least let you escape and cut it off there. Even though it did suck im still excited about the next one, and also Gear's sequel.

I've got to say, i'm extremely disappointed that i didn't get an ending to my 65 dollar game, but it did answer nost of the initial questions, so it was slightly gratifying. it's just so cheap to hurl you into a whole new storyline before ending the game.. but again, it's balanced out by the prospect of freerunning in a modern world, assassinating political world leaders.. If i get to assassinate Bush, so help me, i'll pre-order that game AND it's collector's editions.

Remember the Creed "Nothing is true" Advent Rising and Shenmue is proof that just because is planned to have sequels they dont happen the only beef I have with this game is the ending. I'd love it A they saved the revelation about being in a animus till the end Or have Dom or what eve his name is use his skills to escape the building.

BTW, not sure if everyone was patient enough to stay past the credits... But that's how you get the whopper 50pt achievement, and also, you get to read the irritable doctors emails, and you get into the conference room and read some other guys email, too. It's slightly more cathartic then turning off the game during the credits. Plus you get to investigate all that gibberish on the wall in your room.

the writing on the wall on the end of the game was from subject 16. abstergo washed the writing off of the walls but desmond can still see them w/ eagle vision. the writing is anout how abstergo stole his soul. there alot of stuff u guys probally dont no. like do u no hu lucy is? shes an undercover assassin. thats how the assassins got called in to save desmond. its actually a rly good ending leaving u w/ questions and excited for the sequel.

Anything you don't understand about the game will most likely be explained in the next 2 sequels. Also, after the credits, read the emails on the three computers. Too bad getting all the flags doesn't unlock special moves or something...
