The guy above me is talking out of his ass. Ignore him completly. Halo is Cr*p. It really depend on what tyoe of games you like. For a good Shooter, get COD4 or COD5 or Gears 2 or something. For a good sports game get FIFA 09 and for a good RPG get either Oblivion or fable II. I would also recommed asssassins creed and rainbow six vegas 2, because they are cheap and very, very good games. Oh, and GTA IV obviously. yeh You will definatlkey need GTA IV

Cos theyre idiots who were taken in by advertising and they dont have the skill 2 play a real shooter

To be honest mate. If you're only going to get 1 game for a while, if you like FPS then i'd go for The Orange Box on value for money. You have 3 massive games along with a wicked puzzle game and multiplayer game to boot.

Check up on the review for it. It's 1 of the very few games that I still own since launch.

Other than that. FPS: COD4.... Racing:Grid or Burnout Paradise.... RPG: Oblivion.... Fighting: Soul Calibur IV

Sport: All depends what sport you're into really.
