First 360 game? How did it feel?

So what was the first 360 game you bought (not including any games that came with your console), and how did it fel to finally pop that sucker in and play? Was it a great, adrenaline-filled feeling or a dissapointment?

My first 360 game was Assassin's Creed, and I'm still playing it. It may not be the absolute best but it's nothing below greatness.

Well I bought COD2 first but, I'm going to skip ahead a few months.

Oblivion. I was a huge fan of Morrowind and when I heard about Oblivion in 04 it was like I died and went to heaven and yes that is about the most cliche phrase out there. But, I went to the library everyday because I didn't have internet and I would read everything I could about this game and read all the new headlines and take a trip to the Elder Scrolls Forums to see what everyone else thought.

So as you can see I was stoked to get this game. I went to Wal Mart with $80 bucks in hand to buy this would be master-piece of a game. They didn't have the Collectors Edition so I bought the regular edition instead. I raced home. Popped it in. Spent my entire Spring Vacation playing it. I would wake up at 12 in the afternoon and stay up until 4 at night. Everyday. And, then I beat the Main Quest.

I loved the game. After awhile I went back to Morrowind and have never looked back.

Bought mine at launch day with Call of Duty 2 . Damn, I loved that game !! Also bought Project Gotham Racing 3 and Dead or Alive 4 (the graphics !!!) .

But my first real 360 experience was Oblivion . Damn, I still love that game ! As a matter of fact, I'm going to start the whole game over again right now ! Can play it in High-Def now !

Perfect Dark Zero and for that one night I loved it after that it was just meh. But I waited in line for I think about 7-9 hours for the midnight launch, but meijers was sweet they gave us seats, free food + pop and yea they were just awesome about it. Drove by my friends chilling out in the freezing cold outside of best buy it was about 20 degrees that night if that, with freezing rain. it was nasty out, raced home about 12:15am got in the basement opened up that box, got my free month of live gold and jumped online to vs. the few others that were on and I completely dominated in some very laggy PDZ, lol. I was like 25-4 my first round it was insane, never really played the game again though.

it was SKATE and it was fantastic, its a great game to play when xbox live is being fussy as it is now

I put my Christmas money towards my familys Christmas money then we decieded to get an X-box 360.I got halo 3 with it. and when i played it i thought,"wow, what an ausome game!"then like 2 days after, i got the orange box, to play half life 2, then i thought." WOW, this is one of the best FPS'es ive played!" i was hooked on half life, and when ever i could i played teamfortress whitch was an great,exciting online game, and then when i was bored one day, i decieded to go on portal. I seriously thought it was going to be a crap game, but it was amazing, i was hooked on portal now!:P,i managed to comeplete it on 2 days, and i think it took me like 2 hours{game time, not including the endless amount of times i deid}im now just half way into half life, im still playin it atm:)

oh, btw is it true that its best to play halo3 on hard difficulty the first time round for better gameplay?

but the first time i ever played call of duty 2 on demo at gamestop was when i was going crazy over the feel of the new controller, the graphics, and especially that sick little logo now known as the guide button that lit up, haha iono if it was just me but at the time that thing looked sick

I boughtFarcry , GRAW, PREY when I got my 360. I was a die hard PC gamer eariler, but didnt had high system configuration so I missed farcry in 2004.Then I bought PS2 so I didnt really saw anything nextgen.So I played Farcry first and just at the sight ofIsland and waterI said "WOW this is better than a 6800 GT SLI".

Then I played GRAW and it was really photorealistic, the graphics were out of the world. But didnt appreciated GRAW first due to complexity but once I got over the learning curve it was addictive as hell. Prey was also no less than awesome. Me and my brohter played 360 all the night till the morning 8'0 clock.

I was one of the lucky few to receive a xbox 360 for Christmas 2005 and my mom had to phone every single day just to see if they had any and by luck i got mine.

My first game was PDZ, PGR3 and Kameo and i didntput my 360 controller down for at least three months straight. 2006 was the best year i ever had with the 360 and it will probably always be that way.

Wonder how the next xbox will be ;o

well, my first game i experienced on my 360 at launch was Madden'07 and sad to say i wasn't completely blown away with awe cuz it was an insufficient version period, but i managed to pay some homage to machine itself cause i was hype off the whole white "box", it was something sexy about it in my enterainment space. My second was (technically not a game) but a demo and i was more open than if i had a jar of vick's under my nose, that game was "Kameo" and i'm not even into games like that in the 1st place. i'm more sports, shooters, adventure (more serious themes), driving and some strategy too, i like to use my head a little more in-game than just my fingers gaming sometimes. anyways, my next game was "Perfect Dark Zero", i was a satified wit' that period, looked more nex-gen than madden.

Considering that mine was Perfect Dark Zero...I wasn't very impressed.

I got my 360 late this summer. First game was Crackdown which I loved playing, having already seen it at friends.

Next I tried Gears of War, but having played loads of shooters on PC first, this was a big disappointment. I can't see why people raved about it so much when it came out.

First wasFull Auto - i was dissapointed

Second was Test Drive: Unlimited - I was amazed with the graphics and the game play

The first one i baught was Oblivion and i was and still am underwhelmed by the graphics. I don't know why. Maybe it is because i have been playing Doom 3 and Half life 2 for years which look nearly as good as that or maybe it is because i was expecting Crysis level graphics (i saw a picture of madden in a magazine which looked almost real). The game itself was not very good and it was full of glitches.

Overall i really had second thoughts about the 360 after playing it but i ended up keeping it for 6/7 months until gears of war came out and that was good. Then after the 15 hours it took me to beat that my 360 stayed useless until Halo 3 came out and after a while i got Conan.I guess i am just a PC gamer.

Fight Night Round 3 .... Too amazed ... my brother n I would play in the warehouse armour one i remember wut itz called but we'd play at a certain angle just to c the light from out side crack between the door openings in the background ... SICK!!!!
