If it keeps occuring though you may have to send it in, if it costs money just keep doing that till it red rings.

It's toast, man. Microsoft won't pay for it to be fixed. You got one flashing light, correct? It'll cost yo a hundred bucks to get it fixed unless it gets the rrod.

Cooling it down will not fix it.E-74 is basically hardware failure, something dealing with the video I believe. You are going to have to get a new one,or try and see if Microsoft can fix it for you.

I got the E74 on my old Premium console aswell. No point in trying to let it cool down, it's done foooorrr. Just get in contact with Microsoft, and get it sorted as soon as.

When my Premium got the E74, which was the 1 red light of death, it was about 18 months old. I told a porky to Microsoft when I phoned them up, and said it was the 3 red lights. I sent it off, and they didn't charge me at all for fixing it. They said they replaced the motherboard. The E74 is usually an AV problem, or the GPU dying. I think it was my GPU, because the graphics on my games went very weird 20 minutes before it died.
