First few games to buy with Xbox 360

Which games do you think i should buy first.. Im not looking into live for a little bit but, maybe get a gold live subscription for christmas

I dont want all of themto be shooters, and i'll probably end up buying Call of Duty 4 when it comes out, or get it for christmasaswell ;-)

I was thinking maybe a shooter, racing and maybe a sports/action game. I cant choose between Halo, Orange Box or Bioshock, but im leaning towards Halo then Orange Box. I like Halo because i hear it is awesome to play, plus even better online.

If anyone could please suggest a few more games, i would definatly like to know the best games that are availiable now, and also if anybody knows a few good ones yet to be realeased. I am also going to get Guitar Hero 3, that looks sweet as!!

Gears of war, halo and bioshock are the must haves forget orange box. COD4 is cool but its really just a modern COD2/3 I prefered them more so. Not a bad buy though once your done with the first three I listed

Racing= Forza 2 and PGR4

Xbox live really is a must at 50 bucks its a bargain really enhances the games

True about live, but i mose well be good at the games before i go online, plus then, every christmas i can get a new Live card, becuase it would expire like 26th December :-D NEVER ENDING SUPPLY OF LIVE lol

Of those three games though, would you pick Halo and GOW, or Halo and Bioshock? GOW and Halo seem to appeal more to me though...

Shooters = GoW or Halo 3, Racing = Forza 2, GH3, add more sport games for more fun :D

RENT: Halo 3 -its multiplayer isn't all that great. single player is way better.

I heard there is a 360 coming with 4 games Gears halo3 forza and viva pinata for 369.. man do i wish this offer was there when I bought a 360....

I agree that CoD4 looks great. Halo 3, Oblivion and The Orange Box are probably your best bets. You really can't get more gameplay for your dollar than with those games (especially if you play Halo online). Bioshock is a great game too, even if it is a little short.

Other games you might want to keep an eye on during the holidays are Mass Effect, Rock Band and Assassin's Creed.

Shooter: Halo

Racing: pgr4 (if u like arcade racers) / forza (if u like sim racing)

Sport: fifa 08, nhl 08, madden

others ones: bioshock, gears, eternal sonata, mass effect, assasins creed, cod4
