These are both good - so far I would say the single most "must have" is GeOW. Also Oblivian would keep you busy for a long while if you're looking for an in depth Single Player RPG.
what kind of games do you like? Racing? you got TDU, and the 2 best racing games for xbox ever are coming out in the next few weeks. Forza 2 and DiRT are both gonna be awsome. theres uh... i cant really suggest anything else sorry.. im just playing PC wile waiting for new games to come out lol

give command and conquer 3 a try. seeing that you tend to lean towards shooters, you should already be aware of the "current" top-picks like R6V and graw(2).
I bought it JUST for Dead Rising, then next day some game called "Gears of War" came out and I wasn't even interested or cared. But when I sawlike 100 people standing in line for it, I asked "Is this the line for the Wii?" (I got my Xbox back in November 2006, not 2005), and they said it was for "Gears of War." The game had to be the bomb, so I waited in line without even knowing what the game was about. And indeed.... the game is the bomb. That's my little story.

I would suggest skipping over F.E.A.R. good game but take a look at what is coming out in the next few months. The Darkness looks good, Stranglehold could be great if it's done right and later this year GTA and Halo 3. If you have the money and you want FEAR I would say go for it only because it is in the $35 range. Â
I myself own GoW, Oblivion, and Quake 4. I prefer fast paced shooters. FEAR I enjoyed but the multiplayer was awful. Definately just a rental. RV6 didn't impress me really, it is a first person shooter yet it has a 3rd person cover system. I really thought that to just be unforgiveably stupid. COD2 is good but I don't own because if I play another WWII game I am likely to slit my wrist. As for Oblivion, I got my money worth out of it before I was even half way completed with the game. I've put probably 300 hours in to that game. Very enjoyable, so much that you get really ticked when theres nothing else to do.Â
First game that I got and I got it for free with the 360 and you should get too, is Burnout Revenge. One of the most fun Online game for the 360, and the single player is tough and fun as the online.
