i agree, if you like rpgs get oblivion, guitar hero 2 is extremely fun also

Well seeing as how he posted up on here on the Forums it seems like he might have done some research but is in a tough spot, therefore he posts up here on the Forums for some help to see if the games he had a idea of getting where on the lines of what we are saying.

I recommend you get Oblivion, I just bought the game 3 days ago and it's fantastic, this game will keep me busy for a long time. It's awesome for a good Single Player experience. Now if you are into Xbox Live and want to get straight into playing online I would say Gears of War but since that has been full of childrens these days it's not worth it. Try out Rainbow Six Vegas, that game is pretty damn fun online or so I heard, haven't tried it myself but from the reviews and my friends it looks great.

If you are thinking about Crackdown, please rent it first, I rented it and got bored with it after 3 days, it's repetitive and really gets boring just looking for Bosses and kicking and shooting gangs.

Dead Rising is a lot of fun if you like zombie movies. Like "Dawn of the Dead," it's set in a shopping mall, complete with cheesy Muzak (including a couple of real ear worms I am now trying to get out of my head).

Like the George Romero movies, there is a fair amount of humor and social commentary. The sounds you get when you whack zombies are expecially authentic, and I was really amused when I saved at one of the save points, located at a urinal in a public restroom. After it saves, the controller vibrates like you're shaking yourself.

For racing games: Forza 2 is in my opinion the best there is on any console.

For shooters: Rainbow Six: Vegas, and I would definitely recommend Gears--it's just a must for any 360 owner.

Fighting games: Street Fighter II' HF, UMK3, Dead or Alive 4--they're all pretty good.

RPG's: I only really know of one, and that's Oblivion, which is a great, great game.

Sports titles: Personally, I don't play sports games anymore, but from when I did, I remember Tiger Woods being great and same with NBA Street.

There's tons of good games.

If you're looking for a shooter, get Rainbow Six Vegas. Get an Xbox Live Gold account first though, because that's where that game earns its keep.

no, if you like racers, definitely start out with pgr3. forza is for the people who like civil racing with no intention of crashing

Rainbox Six Vegas is the best one out yet

it doesnt suck...but it isnt good at the same time

the play n everything else is pretty fun...but when your play for more then like 3 day....i mean hours...wait mins...wait sec...it get OLD its the SAME THING OVER AND OVER...so yea

Gears is the more run and gun 80% skill 20% Luck. Its fun with all the blood and the amout of dead body you can kick around.

Rainbow Six is the more of slow pace tacial game..where you needa use cover rather more ad not rush into groups

I rather Gears ( Because it is much better *my words dont go crazy on me * then rainbow because i like da type of game more)
