I'll sell you something that'll fix that problem, yeah, I'll even give it to you for free.... How does an e-punch to the face sound? I'll even post it out to you. I'm sure that's the solution to all your problems, really how much are they paying you? Or do you really have nothing better to do in your pathetic miserable life? Tsk Tsk. Move a long people nothing to see here.
Problem is mate how am I supposed to know you're not joking? 7 Posts, new account.. smells a little fishy around here (or maybe that smell is just me) Either way that's the risk we take on buying these electronic devices on day one.
i just bought an xbone! so i joined the forum. duh!! anyway youl soon see im telling the truth as ms seemed to be aware of the issue. and told me it was faulty straight away. what are the odds!! I stayed up all night waiting for mine, and I preordered it months ago :-(
I'm guessing the Xbox is still on and you've tried waiting? It takes ages for the console to start up the first time.
When I first turned on the Xbox it came to the screen with the logo, stayed there for ages and then I had a black screen for what seemed like a few minutes before booting up properly. I think it just takes time to boot up the first time you turn it on. It actually crossed my mind to try switching it off and on again as i thought it had crashed but Im glad I decided to wait since doing that as it was booting up could have made it die! How hard would it be for MS to just include a little message saying "please wait a few moments while the system boots" or something like that to at least let you know its meant to be like that?
Not that long.

Sony was saying they were expecting 4% failure right at launch so I would assume Microsoft is looking for something of the same possibly? I wouldn't fault the x1 if it was a touch higher because of all the extra components.
I am getting this message every time I want to play a game:
"For some reason TV took too long to start (0×8027025a)"
This is BS, not even a day with the console and I already have problems with it.
I had the same problem. It was easily fixed by unplugging the xbox, holding the power button down for 5 seconds, plugging the power back in and turning it on. Simply resetting the machine did not work.
The funny thing was that this happened after I said "xbox, turn off" for the first time. Then it took a whole bunch of effort to turn it back on! Anyway, no problems since that hiccup.
