i like the 360 a bit more. with it's year head start, it has a lot more to offer, and the interface is easier to navigate than the XMB. motorstorm is hella fun though, when the ps3 is done after this holiday season, then will talk :) but as far as i am concerned the x360 takes the top spot for now.
Long run is the ps3. More features and its built like a tank. 360 in the short run because it has the bigger library of games but questionable reliability really knocks it down in my book.

It depends, I own a 360 and my friend has a PS3. If were talking about the console self, then PS3 wins, it's newer and seems flawless. (it's 10 days old so I'm not sure how long it will remain flawless). But when you add xbox live, the xbox games, controller, achievements and price then the 360 is the better deal. I feel this is going to be the same as last gen, only the other way around. The xbox was younger, better and newer then the PS2. But the PS2 had more games and won the console war.
Right now, the 360. Dead Rising, Gears, GH2, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Fable 2, Huxley.
But, Resistance is really fun. Heavenly Sword and Lair look cool. I'm bound to get the next Ratchet and Daxter. My g/f's gonna love both FFXIII games that are coming out. And you never know what else is gonna come out.
as long as my future console has achievements to work on and online leaderboards for every game with the ability to compare your game achievements and scores with other people from the dashboard, then I will be happy.
