is one slippery game. No one knows whether it's going multi-platform, still, although we can tell for sure it's coming out for PlayStation 3. Also, according to an "Insider" who says he/she listened in on Konami's conference call with investors the following things are true:

• Metal Gear Solid 4's release date will announced at the Tokyo Game Show.
• The release is likely in March 2008.
• Konami president said the company was "open" to taking the franchise to other platforms.

So... speculation and rumors! This is what the internet was founded upon!

Exactly man. Future games from the MGS franchise could see release on multiple platforms, but MGS 4 will remain exclusive to the PS3. It is being developed for the PS3, it uses the SixAxis controller, and Kojima wants to use a 50gb Blu Ray disk. This game is optimized for the PS3 and the PS3 only in my opinion. I think Metal Gear Online has a very good chance of being on multiple systems, but MGS 4....I HIGHLY doubt it.

I Actually read in OXM this month that a reliable source says mgs4 will be on 360 it will just be handled by a "non kojima lead team will handle the port" and" it will ship a few months after the ps3 version" so lets cross our fingers i played and loved the first 3 and look forward to this one :D (but if they kill off snake heads will roll!!!)

in all ways even if its really ported PS3 version will look better because its made for what PS3 capable of which its have a lot better hardware than xbox360 , so buy a PS3 play the game , then sell your PS3 , solved.zidan4000

MGS4 will be the last game Kojima works on, future MGS universe installments will be created without him. It's possible they are referring to those, after Kojima is done.

Eh, I'm with JaySin. I have both systems and it really feels natural to play MGS on a Sony platform.

I highly doubt that MGS4 will come to the 360, it seems like it would have to overcome so many

obstacles. The obvious one that comes to mind is that the programming team at Konami is going to fit the

game on a DL BD disc. That's 50 GB of data for those who are counting. That means in order to

work on the 360, this game would have to be put on about 5 discs or would have to be optimized

(read: sliced and diced) by some talented programmers to make it feasible.

At any rate, I'm quite excited for this game. In all honesty though, I think I'd rather play Splinter

Cell V, which does happen to be a 360 exclusive. :P

But what would MGS be without Hideo? And also, isn'y this his last time as director? isn't it still possibe that he acts as a writer on future games. I persoally think that his next game will be ZoE 3 or a new IP.
