Bought their 360 from Best Buy with the warranty. I just go the RROD and was wondering if they will replace it or will they tell me to send it to M$ which totally defeats the purpose of buying the warranty.

What? so there are 2 different warrantys from best buy? I didn't know that. I bought my second 360 from there in nov and I told the guy I want warranty with it which cost 59.99. I'm guessin that's the cost of the prp warranty cause if it's the cost of just a normal warranty where they are going to send the 360 back for me(something I can do myself without they're help)and tell me to wait 2 months I will first kindly ask for my 60 dollars back or second I will break my 360 on one of the managers heads. But I believe on my receipt which came with some card says prp on it.

Anyways I think the only warranty that best buy has is the prp one which costs 60 dollars. I don't see the points where someone has to pay extra for something that's expected of them to do themselves once the 360 breaks unless it's some other problem like dvd drive or something then I can see the points cause that would cost money since it's not rrod.

YEA there are two PSP(product service plan) PRP(replacement). I hate best buy now they just sent it in for me and on the 3rd repair they give you a new one. I guess I will be experimenting with ways to ruin my 360 now.

No. Best buy only offers the Performance Service Plan on Xbox 360. The thing is, most of the time they will do both. They have to send it to Microsoft, but instead of getting a refurbished one back, you get a new one from Best Buy.

Well I believe I have the prp warranty. How much is the product service plan? cause I got the plan that cost 60 dollars which i'm hopeing it's prp. I'm gonna have to double check my receipt cause if their gonna send my 360 to microsoft i'll do it myself and ask for my 60 dollars back. Also I will never buy anything for there again.
