Due to the immature behavior that takes place on the headset, I propse a law to be passed for Age Limits for Headsets, and all will be carded before purchasing 18 or older. What do you think.

LOL, my age isnt important, but im much older than 18, and i didnt exactly call u a name i made a genral statement that includes anyone who feels the need to depend on the government to hold their hand throughout their lives, if u feel that you fit that mold and are lazy than so be it, but i never said "mrYates808 is such and such"
if your gonna penalize people for being immature you should make them take a test to see how much of an Ahole they are because age doesnt matter ive encountered many annoying 20+ year olds that act about 6 and many mature 12 and 13 year olds the only difference is the pitch in voice

we shouldnt have to mute. i hate hearing the 12 year old call me every racial slur in the book. i am a white guy. i still find a certain N-word extremely offensive. those a bit older at least understand that racial slurs are rediculous, and we go on to insulting each others mothers, and sexual preferences.

Maybe because the stuff you hear over your headset cannot be controlled and is often "adult content" that would give a film an 18 rating or M for Mature, then the headset should also carry an 18 rating.
Umm.... am I the only one here who noticed that it says age LIMIT? This implies that once you get to like 18, you cant use a headset anymore, and only the kids can.

Age limits are not needed. People just need to mute others if they annoy them. And I also agree with the person that said that it doesn't end with people that are under 18. I have played with people that were obviously older and they can be worse than the younger kids. Just learn how to mute people.
I know ill probably get flammed for this but i find it hilarious that people are fighting with each other over an unslovable problem. Hell im only 14 and even i get annoyed with screaming children and the occasional immature acting 20 something year old and i get even more annoyed when i get grouped in with these people just because im 14. (although i do have feedback problems with my mic that i just cant solve. Ill take any suggestions but until then ill just keep my mic muted unless im talking)
Listen everyone, I know that it is an "unsolvable" problem and I did not make the statement thinking there was even a chance that it might happen, my statement was merely to draw attention to the "ignorant" and sometimes out right "disrespctable" behavior that takes place on the HEADSET. I am well aware that even adults act like complete (you know whats) and its not nessicarily an "AGE" thing. But that being said it is USUALLY the younger population that do act like this and there nothing wrong with your occasional "smack talk" but the YELLING, SWEARING AT, RACIAL SLURS, and things of that such need to be STOPPED. I mean COD 4 is rated "M" for MATURE. Therefore you should at least be 17 by ESRB standards,but we know this is not the case. Maybe things will get better, yeah right!
I'd say make the headset have a voice recongnizing system, which determines the age of the player and if they are allowed to play the game. that would take care of all the babies on COD4

That's true.
Even with the age limit immature people would still get headsets through their folks.
