My friend really PO'd me today by telling me that C&C 3 looked and played better on the X-box. We argued for a little bit, but I just gave up because I knew I was ultimately right. X-box 360 is about as powerful as a mid-range PC...the only reason it plays so well and looks so good is because unlike to PC the games are SPECIFICALLY catered to a single performance based machine. They are so many different PC's out there that the performance/graphics you get out of them are completely varied from machine to machine. Plus no matter WHAT game you are playing on the X-box it will be faster and more easily controlled on the PC...Supreme Commadner, Bioshock, ect. Sorry for bashing the 360 on it's own forums....but it was something I needed to get off my chest.

nah man u did the right thing , i have cnc3 for 360 only because i knew my pc wouldnt be able to run it all that well, but yeah the pc is the better platform for cnc3, i mean what do you expect cnc was born on pc, i dont think they would let console be crowned the better platform to run it on.

as u said this goes for many games aswell, but people who say it looks better on xbox, seriously you are kidding yourself

When it comes to most FPS, RTS, and a few other games the PC can't be beat. Sports games shine on the console, as do other genres, but I generally pick up my shooters/rts/etc on my PC most of the time.

I agree with Staryoshi87 for example I just got Ace Combat 6 (great game by the way) and it feels smooth with the controller and I can tell you I just wouldn't enjoy KB/M for it. It all comes down to personal preference.

Depends on your PC. I have a laptop and all games play awfully and require far to much attention lavished on them just to get them ready to play. Playing games on the 360 is so much easier to do and the games perform so much better.

My laptop is great for work and internet browsing though, which is its purpose anyway :)

man this is probably my "most used line" so far :

XBOX(or any other console)=Dev's make games for the consoles standards.

PC=you build your PC for the Dev's standards.

Its that simple and one of the main reasons I dont game on PC's.
