Jill as main character, Barry Burton as supporting character you see from time to time. please make it a solo game again and for gods sake! show me Mr Burton!!!

If I had my pick, I'd choose Jill and Leon

I would like to see Chris and Claire Redfield, just to see themhave petty sibling fights for comic relief. But by the looks of how the game series is running itmore then likely will end up being Leon.Who knows whohis partner will be, maybe Ada would be good.

i think the series will go back to Leon. What was given in the game sounds like there might be something bigger going on other than just Umbrella and Wesker (some slight hints). Plus there are other resident evil characters out there still such as Ada, Claire, Barry, etc. I personally would like to see it go back to Leon.

Will probably be Leon. I could care less either way, I just want more Resident Evil. I don't mind the more action oriented play either. If the game is fun I don't care what they call it. Could be more acary though. I remember in RE4 I would be very apprehensive about rounding a corner or opening a door but in RE5 I just bust in a light everyone up.

Some one new or something.. with a new game engine and the new character is an extremely awesome combate weapon, like Alice on the RE movies or something like that. I want something new and jaw dropping

I think that Carlos should be the main character and if it will be co-op game then second main character should be Leon S Kennedy

reasons:

Carlos - Carlos is pretty cool because he uses a machine gun with perfect accurucy, hes strong, and he sticks out from most re characters because unlike most main charcters hes not with S.T.A.R.S. hes with umbrella.

Leom - hes cool, he has strong kicks, and he also never gets to stressed out he always can just stay calm and he makes things sound funny.

Kennedy cause he is very strong he has cool atacks he had awsome outfits in re4 so yeah but not chris cause he used to be a whimp until re5 because he let jill do the work until she didapeared and he needed to take care of himself. anyway lean has been a favorite for alot of people cause hes an original he was even in i think it was re 2 or 3. and if theres a co-op then well i guesse Chris Redfield.

leon was in RE2 and he is my fav of all the RE characters. Not because of Re4 like most people either ive been a leon fan since the second but as much as i like him i dont really wanna see him in another RE game just yet. I dont want it to become all about him. I would really like to see an all new set of characters for a new RE game.

Leon. RE6 will be scary again, i just know it. Seeing as they are spending so much time on it. :)

I want to see a new main character with a new plot line, and maybe have Jill show up as a supporting character.

but make it a multiple storyline Resident Evil like RE2 where if I beat the game with Claire I get JillB and if i beat it with Jill I get ClaireB. Make it scary and bring back the original gameplay mechanics OR use the RE4 engine but take out RE5's co-op.

Capcom, if you want to make a co-op Resident Evil, make a Resident Evil Outbreak 3. I play Resident Evil's for single player story and to be scared, thank you.

There's alot of story left to tell.

Seeing i seen an article mentionning RE6 will be totally new (meaning new gameplay not like in 5) we may be introduced to someone new. Alternatively i'd like Jill for main.

I may be the only one here that does NOT want RE6 to be Co-op. Its fine for Mercenaries but the main game should be a solo (no excorting either). Maybe we can get both Claire and Jill to have their own scenarios like RE1 or RE2.

as a big Resident Evil fan (being a fan since I played RE for the PS) unlike most of you who only played re4, I don't want more RE games, they screwed up RE5 big time, the co-op was completely terrible, the story blows big time, I really had high hopes because Wesker was back along with Jill, but they totally messed up the game, I don't want a great serie runied more, just leave it the way it is.

I too have played the series since Resident Evil 1(my first encounter however was on the Sega Saturn). I want another Resident Evil because they DID screw up with RE5(not because of the co-op but lack of fear-factor). I think Capcom can redeem themselves in the Resident Evil series, they did go down the action route with RE4 and I loved the game even though it wasn't scary, but RE5 included co-op which I thought would've been a great feature since every RE has always had 2 characters as the main protagonists. All they need to do is bring the series back to it's roots.

The best in the series will always be the remake of Resident Evil on the Gamecube followed by RE2 from PSone.
