I want a hard, evidenced, straight answer on this one. If I buy a game on my adult account can my kid play it on his account if he is on the same xbox and his account type is adult but his age is 13?

yes...he should be able to...depends on the restrictions you put on your xbox, like if his account can play M games...or something like that

Pretty sure it depends on the parental controls you put in place. If you has it passcode protected, then you just enter the code for him. That's the only way I've ever seen anybody from playing a game (other than more physical means :p )

You should check the Family Settings in the start-up menu.
