Yea and the demo is coming out sometime during the 5th which it already is over in Japan(I'm guessing 2 P.M PST time since MS goes on that time) but it works and the only problem is you have to find your way around in Japanese.

If you play on an english profile once downloaded its all in english, even voice work.

If you play on an english profile once downloaded its all in english, even voice work.

the res 5 demo is in english but since live itself is all ***, it takes some effort to find all their arcade games and other demos.

Ah ok I see, I went straight onto an english profile after downloading so I thought the other person was saying its all in japanese.

I'm just confused why they wouldn't release it in the US at the same time, RE is (obviously with threads like this popping up already) just as popular in the US as it is in Japan now, yet we're forced into stooping to pretend we live in Japan... I guess I don't know where I'm going with this... I'm just mad I'm still at work and not home pretending to be Daisuke Matsuzaka yet.

No, but you do get some exclusivity for some brand new ones, I think they were saying if you set-up a Japanese account you get a free month so you should be in anyhow.

Someone else told me the same happened to them. I think LIVE may(not sure yet) have realized what was going on and stopped it. A bunch of my friends got the demo and the ones who I told at school are saying that it's telling them that too.

Yea I think they must have, I followed al those directions but it's says yourregion is not allowed to download this demo or something like that. Whatever, guess I'll be waiting for it in the US.

fff.... i have used up my 3 chances for Gold on the console.. ill have to use a trial code. scissor-face
damn and the friend im meeting now wont be bringing any ,and the gstore will be closed by the time i get there,so im stuck another without the demo today and night

no that can't be right. did you put in a tokyo postcode as well? did you follow the instructions exactly?

Even if you have a japanese account you wont be able to download it. Unless you just created it and have 1-month of XBLgold

Its already been confirmed in the other RE post that microsoft banned the ips. Some got it, some didnt................

Same here too, but it will let me download everything else just not the RE5 demo. Oh well at least I now have a japaneese account

I missed it. My friend got it though... at midnight before it was region locked. :P Oh well. Guess Ill go to his house and try it out some time later.

He said there is a lot less ammo in the game now so thats good.

I got it to download but now it's telling me "This disc's region code is incorrect for this console" ...I don't even have a disc in at this point, anyone know a non-modding fix? Again, I have the demo on my console, completely downloaded, but I just can't launch it.
