Great game and I enjoy driving sims a lot but the career mode lacks creativity and tends to get extremely repetitive and boring. They don't have to think too much to make it better. Just copy any racing championship like F1 for example. You have 20+ Tracks with the following > 1 - Practice 2 - Qualifying 3 - Race (with small/medium/full track) Bonus - Add some pit crews and pit stops - Create Driver - Podiums etc.

The graphics for it look good but I'm not a big racing gamer; though Dirt looks good.

yea i just got the game and i m on the amateur races. it does get repetitive. especially when come races are 4 laps long, throughout the race i m just going, "don't mess up, don't mess up, **** i messed up" fun game though either way.

just don't make your car ten times better then the one's your racing and u will have a bit more time struggling to stay in first which makes it better.

The career mode for me isn't so much that its boring, but that its difficult for some of the race events.

I don't know if you guys have the wireless steering wheel, but it makes the experience 10x better...seriously. This is the first Sim racer i've ever enjoyed, thanks to the wheel.

Either way, im content with the career mode. It does tend to get a little repetitive...thats why I only play 1 event or 2 races per play. The game is going to last me A LONG TIME, at the rate im playing it...and that is why I it's completely worth every $$$ I spent for the experience.

Same here, I keep grabing the game and droping it. Forza 1 had the pit with crew and different updates but I thought it was just ok.

ya it can get a bit boring at times, but I still love the game and I've gotten way more value out of it than any other 360 game so far. wait til you get to the upper levels of the events where they have 6 15 minute long races lol. the ai needs a bit of playing around with - they're too much like robots, sure they'll react to you well, but besides that, they're just robots sticking to the EXACT same racing line and their lap times vary by less than a tenth of a second and they rarely every make mistakes, even on easy. those are my main complaints, but the game is otherwise amazing and playing with the wheel makes it even better.

Yeah I have the wheel and all assists off (All races) and the difficulty medium, with Hard it's challenging of course but I don't want to be playing the game till 2009. The problem with this game is it doesn't let you play anything else! :D

I love the game and i personally think it's the best racing game i have ever played, but i do agree with you i currently have only 4 endurance races left to do and it's really tedious and i just cannot muster up the effort to do them.

I love Forza 2's career. It does get a little bit repetitive but I am a huge sim fan. Able to customize your cars is well worth it. I just wish they had more variety like Gran Turismo. I hope Forza 3 will include F1, and Rally races. That would be pretty sweet.

what's an acceptable difficulty to start off with in forza 2?

i've been playing racers for years, but i wouldn't say i was dedicated to them enough to say that i'm great at them or anything like that...for example, in pgr3, i can't say i'm good enough to achieve all platinum medals (i have about half so far)....

and i don't play with any assists turned on either, and i drive automatic.....should i just go with medium difficulty?

one other thing - whatever the difficulty, does it ramp up later on in career mode, or does it stay the same but just with different circumstances (like the number of laps, the type of car used, etc.)

i'm getting the game within the next day or two and i can't wait to get started...

thanks

I wish there were more tracks. You end up doing the same ones over and over again in the proving grounds.
