Forza 2 - controller vs. the wheel

Im going to purchase a game today and forza is one of my options. Do you recommend in getting the wheel for this game or is it still straight to play with the controller? The reason is ask is because i dont want to drop 200 bucks for the game and wheel today.

controllers faster but wheels more fun. if u dont want to spend so much get the madcatz wheel, cheap n very good

I haven't tried the wheel, but the price tag is just a bit too much imo. You probably won't use it enough to make it worth the lot, unless you're a hardcore racing fan, and you have a great place for your wheel. Other than that, the Wheel should have a fairly steep learning curve and you need to have patience to learn, but it might be a great experience and make it feel more life-like when driving.

Honestly, I'd love to have one, but they're just too expensive. :)

i got forza 2 thinking i'd only get it with the wheel, but thought the same as you and didn't want to spend that much. So i bought just the game and think that it's still great with just the controller.

Forza 2 is an awesome game. I plan on buying the MS racing wheel just for the "fun factor" and hoping that it may get my wife playing Forza with me :)

Watch out, she may just be taking the Wheel all the time and you won't get to use it. :P

thanks for yalls response i think im going to just get the game and if its absolutely unplayable without the wheel which i doubt will happen ill end up coughing up some more cash for the wheel
