Forza 2 Fans Questions

Forza two is awesome at first but after completing about 30% of the races I am starting to get the same nagging feeling all these simulators give me. At the end of the day isn't it just a little to easy to upgrade the cars to the point where the races aren't really that challenging?

I am hoping it gets allot harder later but at this point I don't find the races that challenging anymore. This is not about slamming Forza - GT4 was even worse. In GT4 once you discovered the race that paid out an expensive ride the rest of the game was ruined as $$$ became to accessible.

I don't know - just wondering if I was the only one that thought this.

If you don't upgrade your car and use a comparable car to the computer, then it will be challenging. If you're concerned about getting a good place in the scoreboards, then use a better car for that event. In terms of being challenging, it's really up to you how challenging you make it for yourself.

It gets harder. R-class races and class-specific races in the later races are quite challenging. But yeah, most of the other stuff is way easy.

Oh, and I've never raced a car I haven't customized myself. Besides, how hard is it to put on some stripes and stuff? Customizing makes a lot of the fun if you ask me.

EXACTLY. I spent all kinds of time making my '69 Charger look EXACTLY like the General Lee from Dukes of Hazzard. And I was thrilled with it. Then I saved my design and sold the car for 150k (much more than the Charger cost me), and someone bought it. Then I bought another and placed my design on it again.

Forza 2 is amazing until you've raced all the tracks. (The painting, etc, keeps it alive and kicking for sure, though). At this point i just hire a driver to do my races, because I don't want to do 11 laps on the same tracks over and over.

Try the factory default races. That way you won't have any advantages over the other cars by having better upgrades. And if it's really that easy right now have you tried turning off all the assists and changing the A.I. difficulty level? This game can be damn hard when you want it to be. And if all that isn't enough for you go online and find some good players to race against.Tamashii-sosaku

I play with the AI maxed out but with the assists on. I am going to try it with the assists off tomorrow. Nice thanks, that had not occurred to me.
