Trust me when I say that "Gears of War" is not over rated. It is, hands down one of the best games ever made. I have about 15,000 kills on Gears and still play it. Not as much as I did mind you, but it is still the best multi player out there. well worth $60. Halo on the other hand, love the game, dont like the online play. Looking forword to H3 for the game not the online.Â
If you like great Multiplayer, Shadowrun. If you like drivey-drivey games, get Forza. But only YOU know the answer.
Don't beleive the Shadowrun Review... if you like innovation in your team-based online shooters, it's well worth your money.
EDIT: Seems a lot of people who have never tried Shadowrun like to recite The Gospel According to Jeff Gerstman, and bring up that thet enjoy Forza 2. in the process.Try both demos and make up your mind based on your own experiences. Both games have appeal and loyal fanbases, they just represent completely different genres.
I have both, and since I picked up Forza, Shadowrun has been collecting dust and I sold it on Ebay. Forza is def. the better of the two games IMO, but it really depends on what type of game you are looking for.
I got shadowrun first and then ordered forza 2 so I'll get forza 2 on wednesday or thursday sometime so both seams good to me because shadowrun is awsomme and forza 2 looks good as well.
