well pgr is more like dirt because forza is a sim while dirt is arcadey and a little bit of sim so is pgr so you really cant compare anything to forza
i'm getting both, they are very different racing games and both great games. if you are trying to make up your mind, ask yourself........racing on tracks or dirt? forza would be my pick if i was only able to get one game.
I'v having a blast with forza 2 (Haven't had this much fun with a racin' sim since Gran Turismo 2 for ps2). I'll be gettin' DiRT, but imma have to go with Forza which is King Of Racing right now.

i dunno y u even ask.....DiRT will be a way better game than Forza...If you compare the demos and what they had to offer, DiRT is too much fun even for a demo.

i have a problem with my XBLMP...there are some released demos that are not shown in my list...
and im missing DiRT :(, i will have to wait to rent it...
I like my racers to have physics that are at least some-what realistic, and Dirt fails miserably at that. I don't want a racer where all the cars can come to a complete stop from 90 mph in 30 ft, or one where it feels like you are on ice, even when you're on asphalt. Plus the cars don't even drift the way they should. They all act like they they spin like a top when drifting (rotating on a center point). NFS has more realistic physics then this game, not a good thing...
after playing the demo's i found DiRT to offer more fun, especially the buggies, And i can imagine DiRT being more fun to play with the steering wheel.
I played the Dirt demo, and it was terrible. I was hoping for something interesting like Motorstorm, but that isn't what I got. Maybe it's not my kind of game, but it's way too bland.
Depends on what you like it's like comparing apples and oranges both are fruit (both are racing games) and that's about it. I'd take Forza because I like the gameplay. But you could easily say that for DiRT as well.

If you couldn't compare games then how could you rate them? You base how good graphics are on how good they look compared to other games, so if you have only ever seen one game and you got told to rate the graphics you would have no idea. But if they showed you another game and told you what it got rated for graphics you would then be able to compare and decide what score you will give the other game for graphics. Same thing for gameplay and content. Gameplay is more down to opinion though because some people hate sims and others like it.

I didn't really go on about the graphics so you went on for ages there for no reason really. And the original poster said Graphics, Gameplay, Content etc, etc meaning meaning more of a list of things. So if we do it as the majority have do it Graphics - DiRT Gameplay - Forza Content - Forza Let's add Sound which I would give to DiRT which now evens things out so we're back to where we started. And I meant that it's hard to compare the two games simply because even though they're in the same genre, they're very very different and are trying to accomplish different things. Can't even have an opinion about anything around here without having you're head bitten off, jeez.
I'm not a fan of racing sims but I really enjoy off-road rally games like this so obviously for me DiRT is the game I want.Its all about which kinda racing game you prefer.
I probably won't get either, as the demos were both disappointing. Wasn't a huge fan of Forza 1 either (although I did play it some). DiRT has very nice menu's and graphics but ultimately wasn't fun to play.
i think they have good graphics..they are different environments so.. and for gameplay are you serious? dirt has no head to head..thats a big let down if you ask me..and i know that its a rally game so dont tell me

Dirt has 7 types of races more then 50 tracks and 100 people can race online and what forza2 got nothing 12 tracks and car tune up . Screw that i do not need to mess with car i need race.
