after a race you have the option to save your replay, load it up afterwards and you can play around with it. you can give it slow-mo, change camera angles, etc. 30 secs is the longest vid time.Hows the new video mode work?

do we get to play all the track and vehicles on arcade mode?(I dont know what you call in the game) or you gonna have to unlock them? Leo-Magicpretty much. all tracks are unlocked from the start and probably around 90% of cars are too. the locked ones are mostly high end race cars.
can't say, sorry.Where'd ya get it? Is 7-11 selling them early again?

You know that the FBI (Federal Bureau Investigation) hires people to go on forums like this and book people for pirating and illegal possession of retail only commodities before launch ? lol, It's obvious that the game is not a "Retail Copy" lol.:P
so what if he downloadedit.your just jealous and as for fbi looking at forums...ive never heard such idiotic twoddle in all my days.as if they give a crap about that.man you noobs havent got a clue what you are talking about...

There is 0% chance he went online...his GT would have been banned by now.I'm not going to assume you pirated a copy (even though it seems that way from your Gamertag; massive amount of games, little playthrough) ...
... but my only questions are on the online-play, which you likely haven't tried yet. So thanks anyway.

actually i have played online and checked out the storefront. the game is seen on my GT game list so i would have to have gone online. and i'm not banned. so you're wrong. FBI? that's hilarious. i don't give a crap anyway.
my wife is a manager at a game crazy, whenever a big game comes out she lets me know and i come in and buy it. yes this is illegal because she's selling it to me early. this is why i didn't want to say anything.
this game is worth every penny. i can see that people dislike the fact that i have this game. i started this thread to answer questions to help people out, not to brag.
It's not the fact that you have the game. People in this case assume you have burned and/or stolen the game in some fashion & in turn becoming 10 times worse than someone like myself whom consistently buys used games.actually i have played online and checked out the storefront. the game is seen on my GT game list so i would have to have gone online. and i'm not banned. so you're wrong. Well if your wife sold it to you from an actual retail store then I guess thats cool, and I'm 17 years old in Canada and if you go online with an early-obtained copy of a game they usually suspend your account.actually i have played online and checked out the storefront. the game is seen on my GT game list so i would have to have gone online. and i'm not banned. so you're wrong. As long as it's not pirated, it's all good with me. I can wait. ;)
I've been on the fence for this game for a while, but to be honest I'm just dying for another good racing game. It's been getting stellar press reception as well. Have you played any online yet, or is there actually anyone online to play with yet? If so, how is it?
I'm going to give the demo another whirl this evening.
This is why I didn't jump to a conclusion earlier -- what you did is fine by me (hey, I would've done the same in your situation!).
While I'll simply wait to get most of the details when playing, feel free to share some interesting facts or stories -- Favourite car so far? Track? How many hours are you into the single-player and finshed what percentage (approx.)?
Have fun, mate.
BTW, did you get the LCE or the regular edition?

I think they can find out if you have a modchip... So if theres no modchip, theres no illegal copy... They didnt ban the people that got ODST early in France
yeah i played online a little bit. just drag racing so far. there are a few people online not many. drag racing you can make it 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or 1 mile tracks. and you can have heats too. it's pretty cool.As long as it's not pirated, it's all good with me. I can wait. ;)

Have you played DiRT 2? If so then which is better DiRT 2 or Forza, in your opinion. I'd like to get a racing game but I'm not a super racing fan so one would be enough for me. I loved Forza 2 BTW and the DiRT 2 demo was amazing. Guess I should download the demo for Forza 3 too see for my self but your input would help as well.
can't say i've played it sorry. i've never been interested in giving it a shot. but trust me forza 3 is going to be lasting and will suck you in for hours and hours.Have you played DiRT 2? You say your GF got it for you from Game Crazy? BS! Retailers don't even have the game yet. I wanna see some proof. I wanna see the disc art, box art and instructions. There are people out there that have earliy copies of the game, but only a select few. These lucky few are respected members of the Forza community. I haven't seen you on the forums before so that leaves that out. Smells a little fishy to me. Show me some proof and then I'll change my tune.
Wow, everyone is so hot-headed in here tonight. Who cares how he got the damn game, if you plan on buying a legit copy yourself then thats all that matters. Yelling at him that downloading is bad doesn't make you a better person and most likely won't stop him from doing it (and I'm not accusing the TC of pirating, just sayin').
Anyway... hows the livery editor, any cool updates?
I don't give a rat's ass how he got it! Please XKOJIMAX, answer me this. Can you drive a stock Corvette Z06? If so, go to Suzuka (they still have that track right?), and drive around the esses section right after the first turn. In Forza 2, some of the higher horsepower cars were practically undrivable in esses because of the floaty oversteer that wouldn't even snap to when you let off the throttle. It was like the software code had a line that said that it you lost the rear end you couldn't gain it back for .5 seconds regardless of what you do. This is the very reason why I am considering not buying Forza 3 because Shift is so much much better at controlling rear wheel spin. In Shift, I can dial on just the right amount of throttle to lose grip or let off to gain grip. I tried the Forza 3 demo and the rear wheel drive cars act the SAME as Forza 2--not an encouraging sign!catrocr
Actually, I have a couple people on my FR that have what they call a green copy of the game. From what I understand it's the full game they just can't access the AH or Storefront till the actual release date. From what I've heard the rear wheel drive cars are a bit more forgiving this time around and handle better than the ones in FM2. Hope that helps.

What? Are you wanting me to show you proof mine is paid for? I don't understand.Just proving a point. This is a forum to discuss game related material. The TC is claiming to have recieved a retail copy of the game from his wife who is the manager of a Game Crazy and his Gamercard shows that he has in fact played the game. That's proof enough for me to be able to ask him questions about the game and expect a somewhat knowledegable answer in return. What does it really matter if he's lying about how he obtained the game? No more than it matters if you're telling me the truth about having a paid-in-full pre-order or me saying that I even own an Xbox 360. It just doesn't matter.
Well if your wife sold it to you from an actual retail store then I guess thats cool, and I'm 17 years old in Canada and if you go online with an early-obtained copy of a game they usually suspend your account. Thats not true. Stores across france leaked out ODST a few weeks before it was suppose to be released, and microsoft stated that it wasn't going to ban anyone, as it wasnt their faults. It really depends on the situation. As for DranzarTypeF comment about how every computer as an IP address, not every computer has IP, only the ones that are hooked up to the internet, duh! plus ever heard of anonymous proxies? have ya?[QUOTE="xkojimax"]

as for Forza 3. Have you tried customization yet? can you give some details about that?mikel222222customization in general is SO much better. more engine swaps. you can swap powertrains! alot more parts added. painting is pretty great, there alot more colors to mess around with. there are normal, metallic, and special colors, which are pretty much pearlescent. not only that but you can change the brightness, hue and saturation of every color. alot more rims to choose from. hmm that's pretty much all i can think of right now.

I really don't care if you have it illegally or not, but saying you don't care about law enforcement issues is foolish. I hope you know that your wife can be fined up to $10,000 per copy that she sells early, and I'm pretty sure she would care about that (as would her bosses and you, I hope). In addition, I've read that Microsoft has started banning consoles that go online with unauthorized early copies of games (reviewers and company-authorized people excepted, of course). Like I said, I don't have a personal stake in whether or not you have an illegal game, but you should know that there are consequences and that it probably isn't a great idea to come onto a public forum and brag about it.Please Log In to post.
