Racing for sure, I simply don't have the patience for designing. I will spend considerable time tuning though.
Racing. I don't like all of those flashy, designer cars. Just a nice, shiny mono-colored vehicle to race in. It is a RACEr after all.
I'll let the more creative and talented people do the painting. And then I reap the rewards of their efforts! I just do basic stuff, like racing stripes and whatnot.
So yea, definitely gonna spend most of my time on-the-track. Though I do plan on spending a good amount of time just having Home Space up to use as a screensaver if I'm doing something around the house.
too much to do.

You've no idea....
They've added even more ways to waste dozens of hours now, too. You can use Forza 3 as a screensaver and put your favorite car on a beautiful backdrop and just let the game showcase the car in fine detail, inside and out. And you can go on other people's Storefront pages to not only buy paints or tunes, but also to look at everybody's photographs or even download their replays to watch.
I'll be designing for the first week or so to make my millions. Use that money to buy every car in the game from the auction house, then I'll start racing. This plan worked well for part 2.ch2423
All cars are unlocked from the beginning, so if you can afford it, you can buy it. No need to go through the Auction House to get cars.
Keep in mind, though, that the economy will take a little while to grow. Unless people find some money glitches(which is what led to inflation in Forza 2), then you're gonna have to compete with other painters for people's money, which wont be in large supply for a little while.

The auction house was just a great place to find deals. In part 2 I'd find some of the $350,000 cars for $20,000 buyouts in auctions. The region discounts made it possible for cars to be really cheap even if you were not in that region. It was just a better place to get cars.
Probably racing and skimming the auction house for flashy cars... I don't have the talent to make those pictures, so I am stuck buying them :(... But I will do it.
Definetly racing. I'll be spending even more time than on Forza 2 because now I have 100+ more cars to get, and that took me FOREVER!

Where's the fun in that?
Ill be spending my time in Grid untill grid 2 comes out :Dmike4tw
There is a good chance Codemasters won't make a Grid 2. They seem to be basking in the glory of the Colin McRae success on consoles, and will most likely continue with those.

I like doing it this way so I can drive a lot of different cars at my own pace rather than when the game thinks I should be able to afford them. I'll use a different car for each race until I find my core of favorites. Please Log In to post.
