Forza Motorsport 2 worth getting?

Is forza motorspot 2 a game worth getting. If so, do you think it will have any price drops any time soon? Also, is it a multiplayer game?

what how would the game know theres an update if you werent connected to the internet

All I'm saying is that I put this game in my brand new 360 and i didnt have the cable hooked up to it (internet cable) and it said i couldnt play it without updating it.

So i dont really know what the deal was. Maybe I'm going crazy and it never happend and I was hallucinating. Who knows.
