I've always been a GT advocate ... but Forza is slowly winning me over... I still have to stick with GT though.

GT for me as well though forza is also a solid game. This thread is bound to attract the wrong people though.

It's Gran Turismo for me. I played GT2 GT3 and GT4 but only Forza one. Time will show... I'll find out when I'll play Forza 2 and GT5...

Forza is quickly surpassing Gran Turismo in every way. Buttt i picked Halo 3 because im more into shooting stuff then driving.

thats a tough one... i never played the original forza, but ive loved every GT thats come out, and when i do eventually get a ps3, ill be dying to get GT5 whenever it comes out. so until then, im sitting on the fence...

i used to be a GT guy until i played Forza 2 the physics are way better on Forza 2 then they ever were on any GT games, and there is alot more you can customize. and the online stuff you can do like auctions.

Lets keep it at Gt and forza motorsport 1 not 2. There is no next gen countepart on the ps3.

i dunno which one is better, ive seen the previews for both..and i really cant decide..even though i hate sony, i think gt will be a alright game. im getting forza 2 soon, so for now..ill hafta say.....

  You'll get too many Forza votes as lemmings natural enemy is the PS and any exclusive content that belongs to it, but GT4 is still the champion and probably won't be dethroned untill it's successor. Polyphony Digital is just way too talented, don't agree then boot up GT4 on a 1920x1080i HDTV with the Logitech Driving Force Pro force feedback wheel... pretty good for the least powerful of last gen's consoles, can't wait to see what they're capable of with the current hardware.

With GT HD soon to offer 750+ cars its looking good, but GT5 is the one to wait for and with it being on a BD disk, 1000 cars is aparently sitting there as a target. Also, with GT HD looking to be a digital download, then it means its going to be cheaper than other options.

It really depends on individual taste.  I prefer Forza because in my opinion it is much more realistic, but others prefer GT because it has more cars and is quite a bit easier to get into (no real damage, etc.)

GT 5 is bound to have a ton of cars. But I have to go with Forza, it's got the vehicles I like, plus all the custumization and tuning really bring the racing to life.

I liked Forza and Forza 2 better than any GT game, but I think GT5 will be absolutely amazing.

I've always loved GT3/4 and after seeing HD on my ps3 i was amazed by the car models and environments. GT5 will no doubt be much better than HD and the inclusion of damage is gunna be amazing. Can't wait. Forza 2 is also a great game and though the car models and environments are not as good as GT:HD the customization options are pretty much on par or better than the GT series. Simply it is a solid game. Also i like being able to add decals to the cars. Hopefully GT supports this feature.

I've played GT 1-4 and I really liked them...

Why is forza better: No license, better driving system (so far), a lot of customization.

And also my biggest reason for saying forza is better is the learning curve,at first you have all the assists, you turn them off when you master them, the game starts with cronological difficulty, etc.

With GT4, the first championship I beat was with a fully customized Impreza WRX Sti, and the car's class and overall organization of the game is way inferior... PS: I always thought the idea of having a city was very stupid.
