This is the dumbest video i've seen in along time. The funny thing is yesterday in my college sociology class we watched a video about how fox scuews the news to meet quotas for audiences and Murdoch (owner of fox and other various media outlets) sends out emails on how to approach the report, actually reporting it, and how to evaluate it. He gives them specific things to put emphasis on to make it seem more controversial. Watch this video and give me responses.

***Look for at the end when the psychologist gets in her point of view (the one about the report at harvard i think) then they cut the game expert off and dont even let him respond. Welcome to the reality of fox and all of their biast opinions and reporting techniques, It's BS!!!

Video

*****I REALIZE ITS OLDER FOOTAGE, i just wanted everyone's take on it!

You're a couple weeks late on everyone going back and forth on this, but yeah it was pretty pathetic on Fox's part.

Here's her "sort of" apology. New York Times: Author Faults a Game, and Gamers Flame Back I remember people talking about going to Amazon and other such sites and giving her book negative reviews. Some even posting, "I didn't read this book, but {insert bad revew here}." A little payback when she was asked if she actually played Mass Effect and she said No. Here are some of my favorite parts: 412 of the book's 472 user reviews were the lowest possible rating, one star. Another 48 ratings were for two stars. Only 12 of the ratings were for three stars or higher. In addition, 929 Amazon users had tagged the book with the keyword "ignorant." Tied for second place with 744 tags were "garbage" and "hypocrisy," while "hack" and "hypocrite" tied for fourth place with 710 votes. Gamers have also attacked the book on the Barnes & Noble Web site. On Friday "The Cult of Perfection" was ranked the 346,106th best-selling book on Amazon. Mass Effect, by contrast, has been a hit, selling more than 1.6 million copies since November. She is an author and needs to sell books so I'm chalking up her apology to that. Nothing really sincere. But, I guess she is starting to realize that even she can't stereotype gamers as only teenage boys.
