FREE arcade game is UNDERTOW

all next week Undertow will be free of charge as a make up for the xbox live outages

I didn't really like the demo of it, but hell its free and I wont turn down free stuff. FlawlessSeasons

I haven't played it so I cant say for sure but it looks really bad I dont see why they couldn't just give everyone a code that gives them one free download or something why make it a game that nobody really wants, thanks alot M$ a game I will download but never play, I can die now my life is perfect.

I played the demo for a few minutes and I was not liking it. Maybe if I put more time into it I'll enjoy it more. But it's free and I can't argue with that.

I like how everybody just excepts it and of course I know you cant do anything about it but try not to sound so happy about it I mean they were supposed to be giving us something to say sorry for the **** service we've been getting, but instead they're just pouring salt on the wound.julianwelton

like i've been saying (and getting heat for) the whole time.. this free game is not to make it up to us, the announcement of a "free game" (note they don't mention it's a cheap arcade game) was just PR to make M$ look better to the general public.

if it was really to make it up to us, we'd of all got M$ points to use how we want.

What about people like me whose Xbox is in for repairs and won't be able to download the game during the short time that it is available?

Aparently if you call support "they'll take care of you".

At least they're giving us a reasonable game.

My post is going to be a bit contradicting, but:

1. Why are people happy abouy a free arcade game, you can play about a million of those kind of games for free on the internet anyway.

2. People need to chill about xbox live having a hard time, they have a huge amount of people online now, nobody could have expected that. I definatly didnt expect 360 to do so well at the end of the year.

though i'm sure they have a way to tell if you did infact purchase this before.. and they'll probably just give you a different game anyway :(

They said to call 1-800-4MYXBOX and they'll give you the 800MP instead.

That kinda sucks M$ should just add 800ms points to all accts. to use at our own discretion like maps, vids, etc. M$ truly owes us. DonMega187

I'm surprised it's a 10$ game. I thought they would make it some $5 old classic like Sonic or something. I better get my 360 back from repairs before this ends or I'm gonna call customer support and raise hell.

Of course they don't, it's business and and clever marketing. As long as people continue to buy stuff from Microsoft it will continue.

Personally, i couldn't care less about the whole situation. I've been using Live, well since it began near enough and this is the only problem i've had with it. If it happens again is another matter...

But if they go the free game route, some people don't even download games or even care so they aren't guarenteed to lose money.

well, that sucks for people like me. i suffered through all of Live's problems, and now my 360 is getting repaired so i won't get anything. so all of you complaining it's a bad game, just be happy you're getting something.ctfvyrsgurbnorn
