im not sure if im the only one but i have been getting free xbox live for months now im not sure why it works but then again im not complaining, is this happening with anyone else

Go into Account Management on the MArketplace tab, somewhere in there it'll tell you about how you're paying for XBL, be it a monthly or annual credit card payment, or by one of those cards you can buy in the shops. Trust me, you should do this, it's better to find out how you're paying than think it's free and have money taken off you every month. You're definately NOT getting it for free. Unless you've got silver of course!

he may be telling the truth cause i know when i signed up for xbox live i got the free month, but it never ended, and i actually got free xbox live for an additional 4 months, so intotal i got 5 months of xbox live for free, but then my internet went out during a game and when i signed back on it told me i had sivler
LOL, your getting ripped off mate. Micrisoft, being the sneaky bastards they are, automatically renew your subsciption when your old one is not valid anymore. Stick to the redeem codes.
