has anyone had trouble with plugging in an ipod into your 360 and the ipod freezes? after i disconnected it from the 360, i tried plugging it in my computer and it was giving an error message saying there was a hardware malfunction with the device. i managed to reset it but i hope it doesnt do any permanant damage to it. i tried looking on websites for help but didnt find much. anyone else have trouble like this?

That's very strange...

I don't think it has anything to do with the 360 in particular. The only confirmed ipod issues with the Xbox that I know of is that newer ipods or ipods with the newest firmware will not be detected by the xbox.

From the sound of things you may have to do a restore. I just got me an ipod today. Yah, imagine that. :P

Still learning how to use the thing....
