Surprised no one has mentioned Borderlands yet.
You are pretty much guaranteed 800+ points on your first playthrough. The few ones you might specifically have to go for are extremely quick and can be acquired anytime. The last ~200 just requires you to complete a few simple things in co-op (killing a boss with another player, winning an arena match, etc.), and to reach a certain character level that is a given if you start a second playthrough.
Borderlands has one of the best achievement systems to me. Unlike Black Ops where I earned ~200 for one entire campaign playthrough, with zero to be had from online play, and the last 800 or so from "Do X thing you normally wouldn't have done in Y level" tasks, along with completing the game on higher difficulties.

I got all of the achievements minus the intel (andzombies)in one playthrough of Black Ops. I did look at the achievements before I played, though. I have 100% on it (including DLC) and I've only fully completed 10 or so games in six years.

True, if you look at the achievements as you go along you can definitely get a lot of them, though some of them are skilled-based (kill X thing with only two shots of Y weapon) and you might have to replay the level for them. I usually don't look at achievements beforehand (to add surprise) so unfortunately I ended up with around ~200. Still, I dislike the way achieves were handled in Black Ops.Please Log In to post.
