So, I am in Wal-Mart around 7am Friday morning checking out games for my system when I walk by the Xbox 360 section and notice the console in the case is proudly displaying the good 'ol RROD.
About this time a lady comes over to ask if I have found everything okay and need any help. I said no, I was just enjoying the blinking cry for help from the deceased 360 in the case, when she suddenly said, yeah I have to swap that out before the crowd starts to pick up. She pulls a 360 (brand new in the box mind you) from behind her counter to replace it with.
I watch her slowly remove the broken one, and replace it with the new one. She gets it hooked up, turns it on, plops in what I assume is a demo disc or something that runs all day long, who knows. So, I go about my business looking at games for my system, and when finished, walk back down the aisle by the newly replaced 360 and what do you suppose I see?
You guessed it... This 10 minute old 360 was proudly blinking 3 red rings of glory. The bottom line is, MS has NOT, nor will ever fix this problem without a total re-haul of the internal design. For shame MS, for shame.
