Have you ever actually destroyed a game? I always hear stories of people getting angry or having fits of rage and busting their favorite game in half, but never understood it. Also, all of these console destroying videos never made sense to me until yesterday.

My friend and I had just returned from Boom City, a 60+ stand wonderland of fireworks on an Indian Reservation. For $40 each, we left with bags full of firecrackers, bottle rockets, roman candles, and a few under-the-table fireworks I won't mention here. We got to his house and we were messing around with Navy Seals, blowing up water bottles and stuff. An hour passes, and suddenly we are running out of ideas. Then he says "Wait, I'll be right back". Two months ago, he bought an Xbox 360 from the Microsoft employee store that came bundled with Forza, Viva Piñata, and Kameo. He had been playing the first two, but had not opened Kameo. He brings it down from his room and says "lets blow it up". On his deck, he held the box open a crack while I lit and dropped in a Seal. He closed it, cooked it off a couple seconds, and then threw it like a rectangular frisbee. Seconds later, in mid air, the case blew open, and the game disc and manual flew out. In surprise at the power of the explosion, we restored the contents into the cracked box and tried again, this time with to of the firecrackers. In mid-air, the case blows in two halves and the disc remains intact to one half. Naturally, we remove the disc and tape two seals to its side. The resulting mid-air explosion was spectacular, like a direct hit on a clay trap. We spent a good 15 minutes finding the pieces and putting them together like a puzzle to make sure we had it all so the lawnmower wouldn't hit them, but it was worth it. Overall, a very satisfying experience at the low price of $0.30 in firecrackers and a mediocre game. I guess this is blog material, but I don't keep a blog and I am now wondering if anyone else out there has had a good time with a game like this.
