Try The Battlefield: Bad Company demo. Great game or u can save it for later in the year if you like games like Madden 09

and theres some RPG's coming out like Fallout 3, Too Human, Fable 2

get mass effect its a mix of a shooter and a rpg and and has tons of replayibility

The Darkness is a really really good game, you would probably like it.

Games such as Halo and Call of Duty get repetative, but The Darkness is just crazy.

and I think it's relitivley cheap.

Here's a good one game answer...Lost Odyssey, If you like rpgs, it'll be hard not to like this one, awesome story, characters, etc. not a ton of pain in the butt puzzles, read some --Player reviews--, not gamespot reviews, and you should be ready to buy it.
