GAME Open at 12am to sell GTA4!!!

Its good that they are doing this, the guy in the store told me about it today......

Even if you pre-ordered it you still dont have much of a chance of getting it, so go down at 12am!!!

they order the amount of pre orders they get and some extras. i didn't get halo 3 until 1pm the next day when they released it at 12.

My closest GAME is in a shopping centre that doesn't open until 8 or 9am, so I guess they won't be open at 12am!

I have my copy preordered, but there are 9 different stores in my local town, so it shouldn't be impossible to find a copy.

you could not be more wrong. if you preorder a game, they have it for you. they dont sell it. thats the whole point of PRE ORDERING a game...

Is it the evening of the 28th (at 12:00 when it turns the 29th) or the next day? Damn shipping days and release days confuse me.

The point of a midnight release is that they are told they can't sell the game untill the 29th, so they will sell it the second it hits the 29th. Be there at about 11:50pm on the 28th.

Okay, thanks. I wasn't sure if the 29th was the ship date or street date. And I saw an ad in EGM for some store saying "GET GTA IV EARLY! WE WILL BE SELLING IT ON APRIL 29TH!" which made me think it was the ship date.
