Game recommendations for singleplayer?

My internet is lagging out because of the weather for some reason. What are some good single player games? Also what are some good onlineco-op games that dont lag alot when you have a laggy connection?

If you like RPG's I say give Mass Effect, Fall 3 GotY, and Tales of Versperiaa try. Also if your web is still buggy next week I think Dragon Age might be a decent title.

If you like RPGs: Fallout 3 and Oblivion.
If you like FPSs: The Orange Box and BioShock.
If you like action: Dead Rising

I never get bored with EA Skate 2, Rock Band 2 and Halo 3

Orange Box, Dead Rising, Batman Arkham.

If single player is what you want, Dead Rising is what you need.

I say Mass Effect, BioShock, if you like horror games get Dead Space it will probably take 12-14 hours, Assassin's Creed, Fallout 3 and Batman Arkham Asylum.
