Game that had you hooked the most.

i love vid games... but i usually dont get too hyped up about them... what story has gotten you the most? be it for revenge/saving someone etc...

for me it would be The Darkness SPOILERS.... when u go to see ur jen and he starts on about how "have you ever loved someone so pure you were afraid to show your inner darkness" you go see her, and sit with her til she falls asleep... then u go along the game and u end up being stuck behind a door watching her get shot in the dead..... i was like damn... and when u go back to the apartment and ring her doorbell u hear her voice and the darkness laughs at u mocking you.... i cant wait to get my revenge lol

i'm so glad i've quit and regained my life back..although that new guild wars expansion looks enticing and the online is free..but i must resist

Yes, The Darkness hooked me also.
Bioshock did this, but the best story I had the pleasure of playing through was Eternal Darkness and The Suffering.

story wise.. half life 2 (PC), and metal gear solid (back on ps1 i think?)

gameplay.. soldier of fortune 2(PC), battlefield 1942 + desert combat mod(PC), and battlefield modern combat(xbox & xbox 360).

Final Fantasy XI - Played it since release, still play it on and off. But MMO's are usually much more addicting than standard console games...soo

for most hooked game on a console...I'd say FF7....
