Game Updates?

How do you get a game update? do you have to be connected to xbox live? buy it?

You do have to be connected to XBL - some updates (add on's) costMS points - while some updates (patches and a few add-ons) are free.

It varies depending on the game and content of the update - but regardless you do have to be connected to XBL no matter what to get them.

Well actually you can go over to xbox.com and down load the updates to your pc and then burn those on to a disk and then install that on to your 360 from the disk. Atleast that's what I heard.edwise18

That is for the console interface updates. For the game updates you have to connect to XBL.
