Im looking for a game that has a real good story and gameplay elements to that of Platformers...I know Banjo Kazooie is coming out,but I need some nice games till then.I was thinking of Lost odyssey,and Im more into platformers like super mario,ratchet and clank.They should seriously make more platformer games on the 360.Both the wii and PS3 have their share of platformers.Also Comment on what you think is a game with best story and gameplay!
Also, I haven't finished Bioshock yet (still playing it though), but I could see why a lot of people recommended it as game of the year. The story and gameplay are great in this classic as well.
Lost Odyssey and Mass Effect would be two of the best games for something with great gameplay and story. Bioshock's kind of good too, but i'd say rent this one.
assassins creed was great, but u have to give it a chance. the first hours are dreadfully dull and boring nad repetitive... o wait, ncm the whole game is :P
Lost Odyssey if you like JRPGs and reading. The Thousand Years of Dreams short-stories are all very well written. Even better than the main story line.
Well I'm sure we noticed he said platformer but recommending one on story is a bit tough. I will most definitely agree with Mass Effect and Bioshock, but if your going for a platformer with story may I suggest Lego Star Wars The complete Saga. It has really fun platforming and the Star Wars story. You really can't miss.

The two games that wow'd me for both story and gameplay was Portal (part of the orange box) and The Darkness.
