It could be a misprint... or it could be the best news ever.

Regardless, I wouldn't get your hopes up, I am pretty sure it comes out the 28th of October... I don't really know how else to answer your questions... do a little research and I'm sure you'll get a confirmed date.

where did u get ur information? the local gamecrazy in my town says it's the 28th

i just got this month's issue of GI, and it says that Fallout 3 is coming out at around the 3rd... either this is a miracle or GI did this to get people's hopes up like mine. did anyone else spot this and does anyone else know if it's true or a misprint?Console_Gamer13

2. The magazine was published before the release date changed, which happens a lot.

Fallout 3 will be available for PC, Xbox 360, and PLAYSTATION 3 in North America October 28th, 2008 and Europe October 31st, 2008. Japan gets it December 4th, 2008.

I got this information straight from the official site!

Well, that was a little bit racist. But seeing as Avenue Q declares, 'Everyone's a little bit racist', we can let it slide!

Think of it this way though, how many Japanese games don't even make it stateside and stay in Japan, ALOT! Even more of a point, they get games months before the US all the time and I'm talking about many quality Japanese games like FF series and many many more... I think they will survive not being able to get Fallout 3 until Dec. with the games they will have months before us overpriveledged Americans and Europeans...

I wouldn't say that GI is misinformed. Not about much anyways. I believe that the dating in the magazine is simply because the issue was completed before the date was changed. Keep in mind that most of the reviews, previews, and general information that GI gets and puts out is months in advanced due to several of their guidlines. And GI is usually dead on as for their reviews and such so I pay more attention that that aspect rather than what date they say a game will come out. Spideytrac

No clue dude. I don't pay much attention to the calendar or the website listing. Like someone else mentioned here, Usually the calendar that is listed in GI or i suppose online too is wrong. And i am sure you know how often games change their release dates so in the big scheme of things it doesnt matter too much if the date is wrong according to GI. I am just saying that besides for the date issue, GI is usually not misinformed and usually not wrong.

a lot of games that are really popular here are not very popular there anyways.

This months Game Informer has an article about the Ghostbusters game which say release 2009. But in their release calender, they have it listed as October 21. In their review of NHL 2009, it says September 9, which is correct, but in the release calender it is listed as October 28. These are probably just typos. But I must say that if I didn't get this magazine with my Gamespot Edge card, I would not pay for it.

Fallout is listed as October 7 in the calender...

I love when people say insanly ridiculous things like this... what statistics class did you attend?

I thought this was going to be about how the magazine is full of ads, lies about reviews, and is by Gamestop and for Gamestop.

But I guess wrong release dates are bad too.

First of all, Fallout 3 comes out on October 28.

Secondly, GameInformer does often have their game release calendar thing wrong, but I have a feeling it has to do with the release date changing.
